Year 7 Holiday Programs

Express Revision & Head Start Success Program

Our holiday courses are scheduled in line with public school holiday dates. There are 4 holiday programs per year and usually 5 lessons per week (Monday – Friday).

Our courses enable students to:

  • Develop all skills and knowledge to fulfil syllabus objectives and outcomes
  • Acquire an extensive range of problem-solving strategies and techniques to maximise exam results
  • Develop and foster self-discipline and efficient study habits
  • Turn hard work and efforts into visible rewards

Our course fees are inclusive of all learning materials. Each lesson includes an experienced educator teaching learning concepts and examples, students completing exercises and homework tasks to reinforce concepts.

We offer face-to-face learning option.

Maths Revision & Head start on Key Topics

Our Maths Revision & Head Start on Key Topics course is available during the April Holiday Program for Years 7 – 10 and cover key topics, reinforce foundations and focus on typical examinations questions, so students will be more confident at school.

Course Structure

  • Available as a Holiday Program for Years 7, 8, 9 and 10 students
  • 2 hour lessons daily for 5 days during the holiday program week. Please check our timetable for course running dates.
  • Students attend lessons at their allocated time schedule
  • Small class group based
  • Experienced educators
Effective Genre Writing & Essay Writing Skills

A skilled and creative writer will excel in NAPLAN (Year 7), ICAS, Selective Schools, Scholarship and other school-based writing exams. Since writing skills take time to develop it is vital that students get an early start in order to maximise their skills and opportunities for high school exam success. Ensure your child possesses the vital writing skills and competencies in order to maximise their exam success. A highly recommended course.

Course Goals

  • Develop creative writing skills
  • Develop skills in writing effective topic sentences
  • Develop character analysis skills
  • Develop plot techniques
  • Develop knowledge of text types: formal letter writing, diary opinion, descriptions and news articles
  • Foster creativity and develop planning skills

Debate & Public Speaking Workshop

Develop your confidence to be a better public speaker. Topics discussed include:

  • How to overcome fears associated with public speaking
