Year 5 Exam Preparation Program
Term 2 & 3 – 3 hours
Term 4 – 4 hours
Students complete mock exams under exam conditions and gain confidence before sitting the Selective Schools Placement Test, private school entry and/or scholarship exams.
In Term 2 – 3, each week students undertake two full length test papers (either Mathematical Reasoning Skills or Thinking Skills or Reading Skills or Writing Skills).
In Term 4, each week students undertake four full length test papers (either Mathematical Reasoning Skills, Thinking Skills, Reading Skills and Writing Skills).
The teacher then guides students through an explanation of the most challenging questions to ensure thorough understanding. The tests for each lesson will be presented in a testing format possibly expected in the upcoming Selective Schools Placement Test.

Students receive an individualised diagnostic report, hints and tips on answering questions, and can review selected questions.
