Our Holiday Success Programs comprises of one week of fun and enriching workshops to set your child up for success.

Advanced English Maths and General Ability

Ensure your child’s conceptual development is on par in relation to advanced numeracy, literacy and critical thinking. Our highly popular program ensures maximum skills development. A solid preparation for success for the academic school year in Level 3.

Course Goals

Among the outcomes:

  • Develop comprehension skills – multiple choice and short answer formats
  • Develop sentence structure and punctuation skills
  • Develop spelling skills – look, say, cover, write, check method
  • Develop general knowledge and problem solving skills
  • Develop subtraction skills – with and without trading; using internal zero
  • Develop concepts of division, time and money
  • Develop concept of hundredths
  • Develop critical thinking skills

 

Middle Effective Grammar and Creative Writing

The ability to think and write creatively will be critical throughout your child’s education. Writing skills can be slower to develop than other literacy skills and that is why it is important to develop skills development from an early age. Our Effective Grammar & Creative Writing Program for Year 3 covers a range of vital writing skills and introduces students to the textual demands of a range of writing types.
