Enrichment Maths & English Workshop
The Enrichment Maths & English Workshop is available for Year 1, Year 2 and Year 3, with a focus on the key subject areas of Maths and English. It runs during the first week of the Queensland summer holiday programs at the Upper Mount Gravatt campus.
Course Structure

Course Goals
- Develop literal and inferential comprehensions skills
- Develop spelling skills
- Develop vocabulary
- Develop grammar and punctuation skills
- Develop advanced knowledge of number up to three digits
- Develop numerical operations & basic understandings of fractions
- Develop basic general ability (thinking skills) concepts
- Develop concepts of area, time & measurement using formal and informal units
- Develop concepts of graphing, money, chance and probability
- Develop concepts of shape, position and temperature

Essential Grammar, Sentence Structure & Creative Writing
The ability to think and write creatively will be critical throughout your child’s education. Writing skills can be slower to develop than other literacy skills and that is why it is important to develop skills development from an early age. Our Essential Grammar, Sentence Structure & Basic Writing Program for Year 1 and Year 2 covers a range of vital writing skills and introduces students to the textual demands of a range of writing types. It runs in the second week of our Queensland summer holiday programs at the Upper Mount Gravatt campus.
