Core Program

(Special Fastrain Extended Program. Selection is by Entrance Exam)

The Young Achiever program is an advanced training program which includes the subjects of Writing, English, Mathematics and Thinking Skills/General Ability. A comprehensive course that develops your child’s potential in all areas of literacy and numeracy. Each lesson contains 30 minutes dedicated to writing skills followed by 90 minutes each of literacy and numeracy. Students develop essential literacy and numeracy skills for greater confidence and success at school. Thousands of students have studied in our programs.   • Develop competency and creativity in writing across a range of text types
  • Develop superior spelling skills
  • Develop an advanced vocabulary
  • Develop grammar, usage and punctuation skills
  • Develop advanced knowledge of numbers in thousands and beyond
  • Develop numerical operations
  • Develop understandings of fractions and decimals
  • Develop a range of thinking skills (general ability) concepts
  • Develop concepts of area, time and measurement using formal & informal units
  • Develop concepts of graphing, money, chance and probability
  • Develop concepts of shape, position and temperature
  • Develop basic exam techniques and problem solving skills
Course Structure
  • 4 terms in a year, 10 weeks in a term
  • 3.5 hour lessons per week, during term
  • Students attend lessons at their allocated time schedule
